This is a (laid-back) fanworks challenge community for Hetalia. The basic premise is that all works are posted on the day that they happened in history. If you love the history side of fandom, this is the place for you to learn something new, or share with others something that you yourself have learned. Or, if you've hit a writers/artist block, history just so happens to have about five billion prompts for you to look at. HISTORY POWERS, ACTIVATE!

If you are feeling daring, creative, or masochistic, why not try to get on the hall of fame for writing/drawing a chain of events? You'll even get a nifty banner when you do~ If you're looking for historical inspiration, there's a resource post for that. No matter what you decide, however, please read these easy guidelines before you post, and remember to tag your stuff. You are more than welcome to x-post your work here or other places.

We accept Hetalia works for all countries--even OC nations!--and all ratings of fanworks; just put NSFW stuff under a lock, fics behind cuts, and keep preview images PG13 and at 300x300 pixels. The minimum wordcount for fics is 300 words; there is no minimum requirement for art. Feel free to PM your mod [info]sadlygrove with any questions, or if you would like to affiliate.

As far as commenting and etiquette, we all know that history has its nasty parts--hate the history, not the writer. However, if you think we have a troll or just something particularly tasteless, please let a mod know so it can be deleted. Otherwise, don't be a dick or promote dickishness. That is all. ♥
